This writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner for a direction to the Respondent to reconcile the pension of the Petitioner as per Circular No. 568 dated 13.10.2016 and release the pension so calculated with interest, Petitioner is an ex-serviceman, who retired from the Indian Army in 1996. Therefore, any claim with respect to pension and/or all service benefits is maintainable only before the Armed Forces Tribunal constituted under the Armed Forces Tribunal Act, 2007.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of as not maintainable with liberty to the Petitioner to take recourse to appropriate remedy before the appropriate Forum.
