This petition is filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 842/2021 under section 66C/66E/67 IT ACT, P.S. Paschim Vihar (West) basis settlement arrived at between the parties.

Petitioner and respondent no.2 are present in Court and are duly identified by the IO and the counsel.

Respondent no.2 has filed an affidavit stating that she has no grudge against petitioner who was her husband and she continues to live with him as a married couple him and wishes to forget the bitter past. She further states that they have amicably resolved their issues and has no objection to quashing of the FIR.

continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 842/2021 under section 66C/66E/67 IT ACT, P.S. Paschim Vihar (West) Delhi and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 6.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
