The present petition has been filed by the Petitioner - Sh. Deepak Tanwar under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2024 seeking issuance of writ in the nature of habeas corpus for production of his daughter- Ms. 'B'. 3.

Various allegations have been made in the writ petition. However, a Status Report dated 7th October, 2024 has been filed today and the same has been taken on record. It is stated in the said status report that the daughter of the Petitioner has got married as per her own volition with one Sh. Nitin who stays in Shalimar Village, Delhi. The date of birth of the girl has also been verified and in her Aadhaar Card, the same is shown as 26th January, 2005. 4.

Today, the Court has interacted with the girl, Ms. B and her husband, Sh. Nitin in chambers. Both the girl and boy are clear that they are married The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. and the girl states that she wishes to stay with her husband. In this view of the matter, it is submitted by ld. Counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner does not wish to press the present petition and also withdraws all allegations. 5.

Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn and accordingly disposed of.
