% 05.03.2018 Petitioners are seeking quashing of the present FIR being FIR No. 1059/2015 registered under Sections 498A/406 read with Section 34 of the IPC on the complaint of respondent No. 2. Respondent No. 2 is present in person. She endorses the settlement. In fact the settlement agreement arrived at inter se the parties before the Tis Hazari Courts which is dated 08.03.2016. In terms of this settlement, parties had agreed to go in for divorce by mutual consent. They stand divorced by decree of divorce dated 29.04.2017. Further terms of settlement disclose that petitioner No. 1 had agreed to pay a sum of Rs 5,00,000/- to respondent No. 2 out of which Rs 4 lakhs already stands paid and Rs 1 lakh has been paid by petitioner No. 1 to

respondent No. 2 today in Court by way of demand draft. This is a fit case where the prayer made in the petition should be granted. Accordingly, to secure the ends of justice, the present FIR No. 1059/2015 registered under Sections 498A/406 read with Section 34 of the IPC and all proceedings emanating therefrom stand quashed.

Petition disposed of in the above terms.
