This is a joint petition under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 on behalf of the parties seeking extension of time for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award. 4.

It is submitted by respective counsel that the final arguments before the sole arbitrator stand completed and the matter is pending only for pronouncement of award.

In view of the averments made in the petition and the submissions of respective counsel, the time period for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award is extended till 31.01.2025. 6.
