The limited prayer in the present petition is for issuing directions to the Ld. Trial Court to expedite the trial in criminal case no. 4170/2018 arising out of FIR no. 253/2017, registered at PS Dwarka North under Section 498A/406 IPC and to conclude the same within a fix time frame. 2.

Petitioner is the accused before the Trial Court. Ld. Counsel submits that charge-sheet was filed in the year 2018, cognizance was taken on 08.05.2018 and charges were framed on 24.08.2022 but till date the examination-in-chief of the complainant is not complete. He states that petitioner is suffering because of the delay in the disposal of the case. 3.

Without knowing the status of board of Trial Court, it may not be appropriate to issue any time bound directions. The petition is therefore, disposed of with direction to the Ld. Trial Court to make best possible endeavor to dispose of the case in a most expedient manner.
