Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('Cr.P.C.') has been preferred on behalf of the petitioner with the following prayer: "Under these circumstances, it is, therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to pass necessary directions/orders to the concerned SHO to take appropriate action against the accused person and to protect the petitioner in the interest of justice."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been receiving life threats from accused Anwar Hussain, Mr.Siraj Shah and Rijbul Shah. A complaint in this respect was lodged with the police station concerned in October, 2023, but no action has been taken till date. 3.

Issue notice. petitioner is being looked into and outcome of the same would be conveyed to the petitioner within a period of four weeks. It is further submitted that in the meantime, phone numbers of beat constable/SHO, P.S.: Seemapuri, Delhi shall be shared with the petitioner, in case he apprehends any threat from the alleged accused.

Taking the statement of learned ASC for the State on record, petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
