The instant writ petition was filed for the following reliefs: "a. Issue a Writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction upon the Respondents directing them to pay to the Petitioner the final reward amount due to him under the Income-Tax guidelines along with interests at the rate of 10% per annum, from the date of detection of illegal income from the Company.
b. Direct that the entire records of the case be produced for the perusal of this Hon'ble Court." 2.
Nobody has appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Even the Court notice of hearing which was sent to the petitioner has been returned back with a note that the petitioner is not residing at the given address. 3.

view that in the absence of the petitioner, the case cannot proceed. 4.
The petition is, therefore, dismissed for want of prosecution. 5.
In case, any of the petitioner's grievances still subsists, he shall be free to move an application for revival of the present writ petition. Such application shall be considered in accordance with law, subject to all just objections.
