The present writ petition under Articles 226 of the Constitution of India r/w Section 528 BNSS seeks a direction to the respondent no. 1 to permit the petitioner to join investigation through video conferencing. 2.

Issue notice. Learned ASC for the State accepts notice. 3.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has already been made to appear before the concerned IO three times by travelling from Kolkata to Delhi. of process of law. He further submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to render full cooperation through video conferencing if any further statement of his is required to be recorded by the IO. 4.

The learned ASC has no objection to the petitioner joining investigation as long as he cooperates with the investigation. 5.

The petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the respondents to allow the petitioner to join further investigation through video conferencing, since he has already appeared in person as many as three times by travelling from Kolkata and got his statement recorded.

6. As a matter of caution, I may hasten to add here that this order shall not in any manner be construed to impede the intended investigation by the IO.
