Learned counsel for the respondents hands over a copy of the Signal dated 08.03.2018, that states that the petitioner‟s place in the merit list of the selected candidates is being revised and his appointment/selection will be made after placing him at an appropriate level in the merit list of selected candidates, as per the marks obtained by him, on the basis of the revised answer key. The said document is taken on record with a copy to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the respondents states that it will take at least two months to revise the petitioner‟s placement in the merit list of the selected candidates as the process of scanning the revised OMR sheets is going on. W.P.(C) 1983/2018

As a last opportunity, the respondents are directed to complete the entire process within two months. Thereafter, the petitioner shall be informed of his placement in the merit list of the selected candidates and all consequential orders pursuant thereto shall be passed relating to grant of seniority as per the merit list, arrears back wages etc. 4.

In case the respondents fail to comply with the above order within the stipulated time, then the petitioner shall be at liberty to bring the same to the notice of this court by filing an application. 5.

The petition is disposed of.
