Counsel for LAC submits that a fresh notification under section 6 has been issued with respect to the land of the petitioner, which is situated in village Malik Pur Kohi alias Rang Puri, District South West Delhi except one Khasra i.e. 1452. Thus section 24(2) would not be available to the petitioner.

Since none is present on behalf of the petitioner today and none was present even on 20.11.2017 and 09.01.2017, it seems that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the present petition. The writ petition is dismissed for non-appearance and non-prosecution.
