% 04.11.2024 CRL.M.A. 32961/2024 (reduction of the Surety Amount) 1.

By way of present application, the applicant seeks reduction of surety amount.

The applicant was granted regular bail by this Court vide order dated 08.10.2024 wherein he was directed to be released on regular bail on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like amount.

It is stated by learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant has not been able to avail the benefit of the said bail order as he could not arrange surety of Rs.25,000/-. He therefore prays that the surety amount may be reduced to Rs.5,000/-.

Issue notice.

Notice is accepted by learned APP for State who states that he has no objection to the prayer made by the applicant. 6.

the no objection by learned APP for the State, the application is allowed and the surety amount is reduced to Rs.5,000/-.
