However, none is appeared on behalf of any of the Petitioners.

The prayer in the Writ was to fill up the regular vacancies to the post of Assistance Engineer (Civil) and to promote the Petitioners to the higher posts and also to create supernumerary posts of Assistance Engineer to promote eligible Petitioners as per seniority. 3.

In view of the report on the Court Notices, the Petition along with pending Application, if any, stands dismissed in default and for nonprosecution.
