This is a petition seeking quashing of FIR No. 325/2017 dated 06.12.2017 under Section 465/467/468/471/120-B IPC. 2.

As per the FIR, there are allegations that an agreement executed between the parties was forged by the petitioners creating certain liabilities on the complainant/respondent no.2.

However, during the pendency of the proceedings the parties have arrived at a settlement recorded in consent order dated 24.05.2024 passed in the District Court of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. 4.

The petitioner No. 1 is present and identified by Ms. Monika Tyagi, Advocate. Respondent No. 2 is present and identified by Mr. Satyam Thareja, Advocate.

settlement out of their own free will, volition and without any threat, force, undue influence or coercion.

Since the parties have arrived at a settlement and no disputes are pending, I am convinced that quashing of such proceedings on account of compromise would bring about peace and would secure the ends of justice. This court does not see any fruitful purpose if criminal proceedings are permitted to be prosecuted any further. It is a fit case for quashing. In this view of the matter, there is no reason to continue the proceedings. 7.

In view of the above, the FIR No. 325/2017 dated 06.12.2017 under Section 465/467/468/471/120-B IPC and consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed..
