% 07.05.2018 As per the status report out of 40 witnesses to be examined by the prosecution 31 witnesses have been examined.

Learned APP for the State informs that out of the 9 remaining witnesses 6 have been summoned for the next two dates i.e. 20th and 30th July, 2018.

Considering the fact that the trial is now at the fag end with prosecution evidence likely to be completed in another three months, this Court at this stage finds no ground to grant bail. Petition is dismissed.

It is hoped and expected that the learned Trial Court would expedite the trial and conclude the same expeditiously. MAY 07, 2018/'yo'
