This Letters Patent Appeal is directed against the order dated 13 August 2024. The petitioner/ appellant had moved an interim application seeking directions in respect of players' auction which was proposed to be conducted.
2.
We are today informed that the said auction has already concluded. In any case, we bear in mind the following observations which have been recorded by the learned Single Judge in the order impugned before us:
"10. Thus, the Sanction Agreement between AKFI and Respondent No. 3 has not yet been annulled by this Court. At this stage, the Court is only concerned with construction of the clause pertaining to extension of the Sanction Agreement, which as discussed above, indicates that the Agreement presently stands extended for another ten years.
11. In light of the above, in the opinion of this Court, no interim directions restraining Respondent No. 3 from conducting the player auctions can be issued solely on the basis of the public notice issued by the Administrator of AKFI.
12. Accordingly, the request made in the instant application is declined and the application is dismissed."
3.
Since all issues are pending consideration before the learned Single Judge itself, we find no justification to entertain the appeal at this stage. The appeal shall, accordingly, stand dismissed. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
4.
All rights and contentions of respective parties on merits are kept open.
