Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner for issuance of appropriate Writ for quashing the Advertisement dated 08.07.2005, issued by the Respondent No. 1, insofar as, it prescribed a scale of Rs.18,500-23,900/- under the IDA pattern and the interview that has since been held on the basis thereof, or the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to the Respondent No. 1, to call the Petitioner for the interview for selection as Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the Respondent No. 2-Corporation. 2.

The Writ Petition had been filed in November, 2005 in order to challenge the Advertisement dated 08.07.2005 and for the directions to call the Petitioner for the interview for selection as the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the Respondent No. 2.
