The petitioner workman has assailed the Labour Court Award whereby a sum of Rs. 1,50,000/- was awarded towards lumpsum compensation instead of reinstatement. The petitioner even accepted the said amount from the respondent management. The impugned award was passed in the year 2022. Prior to the present petition, another similar petition W.P.(C) 12777/2023 was filed by the petitioner but the same was withdrawn with liberty to file afresh before "appropriate court in accordance with law".

In view of the above background, learned counsel for petitioner after addressing partly seeks permission to withdraw this petition on instructions of his client.
