The Petitioner impugns order dated 11th September, 2024 issued by Respondent No. 1, appointing Respondent No. 3 as the Chief Executive Officer,1 Haj Committee of India.2 2.
Counsel for Petitioner, however, apprises this court of a pertinent development that has taken place during the pendency of the present proceedings. Mr. Anurag Ahluwalia, CGSC for Respondent Nos. 1 & 2, apprises the Court that Respondent No. 3 was not relieved by the parent organisation and therefore he would not be joining as the CEO of HCoI. Moreover, through office memorandum dated 9th October, 2024, issued by Ministry of Home Affairs [Haj Division], a fresh notice has been issued inviting applicants for appointment of CEO, HCoI, Mumbai.
