Present public interest petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondents for removal of the alleged unauthorized construction at Village Nangloi Jat, Delhi-110041. Petitioner further seeks direction for restraining the respondents from illegally alienating any portion of agricultural land at the said property for other purposes.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that respondent Nos.2 to 6 run a company by the name of M/s. unauthorized construction in the subject area over agricultural land in contravention of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954. 3.

He draws the attention of this Court to two registered sale deeds dated 19th September, 2022 and 23rd January, 2023, and contends that vide the said sale deeds, the respondent Nos.2 to 6 are entitled to use the land for agricultural purpose only. He further states that he has raised the aforesaid issue by submitting a representation dated 11th September, 2023 to the respondent Nos.1, 7 and 8. He, however, states that no action has been taken with regard to the same.

Keeping in view the aforesaid, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.8 to treat the present writ petition as a representation and to decide the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, after giving notice to respondent Nos. 2 to 6. 5.

If any action is required to be taken in pursuance of the said decision, the same shall also be taken in pursuance to the said decision. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open.
