At the very outset, learned counsel for respondents, who has appeared on advance intimation has placed before me the practice directions dated 09.01.2023, laying down that in writ petition which is filed assailing the order/award passed by the learned Labour Court or any other statutory authority the workman is a contesting respondent, the petitioner would be required to array the workman as respondent no.1 so that he is easily able to locate the writ petition in the cause list. Learned counsel for respondents has also placed before me two orders on the same lines of coordinate benches.
