The present petition has been filed by the petitioner praying inter alia for issuing directions to the respondents not to initiate any disciplinary proceedings against him and further, to quash the Court of Inquiry dated 6.5.2015 and the chargesheet dated 24.6.2015, issued to him. 2.

We have perused the present petition. The main grievance of the petitioner is that he had submitted a statutory petition on 17.9.2015 to the Commanding Officer, SSB for redressal of his grievance under Section 15 of the SSB Act, 2007 (Annexure P-15 (colly) and thereafter, he had resubmitted his statutory petition on 14.12.2015 (Annexure P-18), but the respondents have not decided the same till date.

To redress the aforesaid grievance, it is deemed appropriate to direct the respondents to decide the statutory petition submitted by the petitioner on 17.9.2015, under Section 15 of the SSB Act, 2007 within four weeks from today, under written intimation to him.

Needless to state that if the petitioner is aggrieved by the decision that may be taken by the respondents, he shall be entitled to seek his remedies as may be available to him in law.
