Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ('BNSS') has been preferred on behalf of petitioner with the following prayers : "a) Issue a writ of mandamus and/or any other writ, order and/or direction thereby directing, the respondents to adhere to the procedure of law, and not take any coercive steps proceedings The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Learned ASC for respondent No. 1, 2 and 4 appears on advance notice and on instructions, informs that since there is no official by the name of Vijay Chandel Sub-Inspector (respondent No. 3) working in the Office of Crime Branch, he does not represent respondent No. 3. 3.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that FIR No. 0179/2024, under Section 63 of Copyright Act, 1954, was registered at PS: Crime Branch on 09.09.2024 regarding sale of counterfeit goods, at instance of petitioner on behalf of M/s Speed Search and Security Networks Pvt. Ltd., which represents M/s Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Private Limited along with other connected companies. He contends that at instance of accused involved in said FIR, petitioner was picked up by respondent No. 3 / Vijay Chandel Sub-Inspector on 29.09.2024 and was taken to PS: Crime Branch, Sector 17, Dwarka. He emphasizes that petitioner apprehends false implication by by officials of PS: Crime Branch. 4.

relation to organized crime, in connection with which petitioner is to be investigated. He further contends that notice had been given to the petitioner on 29.09.2024, which was duly received by him. 5.

Considering the totality of the facts and circumstances, DCP, ATS, Crime Branch, Sector 17, Dwarka is directed to look into the grievances of the petitioner, which have been raised by way of present writ petition in order to allay any apprehension of false implication. Petitioner is further at liberty to meet the concerned DCP, Crime Branch, Sector 17, Dwarka for raising the concerns, if any, in this regard. Petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. A copy of this order be forwarded to DCP, Crime Branch, Sector 17, Dwarka for information and compliance. ANOOP KUMAR MENDIRATTA, J.
