Issue notice. Mr. Abhinav Singh, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

The only relief sought by the petitioner is for correction of revenue records and mutation of land bearing Khasra No. 1057 (4-16) & 1058 (70) in the revenue estate of village Mahipalpur, New Delhi, in the name of the petitioner.

Mr. Sagar Mehlawat, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that he would be satisfied with a direction that the respondent should take an appropriate decision within a given time frame. 4.

Mr. Singh submits that he has not yet received instructions in the matter. However, it appears from the contents of the writ petition itself that, the Village has been urbanised and the revenue authorities would, therefore, have no jurisdiction in respect of mutation. Mr. Mehlawat submits that the petition may be disposed of, directing the respondents to communicate their decision to the petitioner, including the consequences of urbanisation.

In view of the above submission, the writ petition, alongwith the pending application, is disposed of, with a direction that the respondent will communicate its decision to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from today.

It is made clear that this Court has not foreclosed a decision even on the question of jurisdiction.
