This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 299/2019 PS Delhi Cantt. under Sections 279/337 IPC basis settlement dated 22nd August, 2024, arrived at, with the facilitation of the Delhi Mediation Centre, Patiala House Courts, which is on record of this Court. As per the settlement, the final outstanding balance of Rs.2 Lacs is being tendered vide DD No.010717 drawn on HDFC Bank to respondent No.2, who accepts it in Court. Petitioner is also present in Court and is duly identified by the IO. 2.

Respondent No.2 has no objection to the quashing of the FIR. 3.

use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 299/2019 PS Delhi Cantt. under Sections 279/337 IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 5.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
