Investigating Officer (IO) from Police Station Mehrauli, Delhi. 6.

Briefly stated, facts of the present case are that on 22.12.2018, at about 10:45 AM, a quarrel had taken place between the petitioners and the respondent nos. 2 to 4. It is stated that on the complaint of respondent nos. 2 to 4, the present FIR was registered against the petitioners under the relevant sections. It is also stated that on 22.12.2018, a cross FIR bearing no. 895/2018 at P.S. Mehrauli, Delhi was registered on the complaint of petitioner no. 2 namely Ms. Sunita. It is further stated that subsequent to the registration of the FIR, the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 4 have amicably resolved their dispute vide Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dated 26.07.2025, entered between them.

7.

On a query made by this Court, respondent nos.2 to 4 who have been identified by the concerned IO, have categorically stated that they have entered into compromise out of their own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. It is also stated by respondent no. 2 that the entire dispute has been amicably settled between the parties. Respondent nos. 2 to 4 further stated that they have no objection if the present FIR is quashed. 8.

In view of the above fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences of their own free will, without any coercion and no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. It would thus be in interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 9.

Accordingly, FIR bearing no. 894/2018, registered at Police Station Mehrauli, Delhi for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 323/325/354B/452/509/506/34 of IPC and all consequential proceedings The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
