These petitions have been filed seeking quashing of FIR Nos.523/2018 and 524/2018, PS Amar Colony registered under various Sections including 323/354/34 IPC on the basis of settlement arrived at between the parties on 27th August, 2024, which is on record of this Court. 2.

The dispute was between a married couple who have now resolved their disputes and are living together in peace and harmony. petitioner and the complainant in the respective matter are present before this Court and duly identified by the IO and their respective counsels. 3.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR Nos.523/2018 and 524/2018, PS Amar Colony registered under various Sections including 323/354/34 IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 4.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 5.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
