By way of the present petitions, the petitioners seek quashing of the FIRs bearing Nos. 695/2015, 166/2016 & 167/2016, registered at Police Station Maurya Enclave, Delhi, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 452/323/34 of the IPC in the FIR bearing no. 695/2015, Sections 451/354/509/506/34 of the IPC in FIR bearing no. 166/2016 and Sections 451/354/506/509/34/354(B) of the IPC in FIR bearing no. 167/2016 and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom, on the basis of settlement arrived at between the parties. 2.
Issue notice. The learned APP accepts notice on behalf of the State. It is stated that the Status Report has been handed over to this Court after removing the objection pertaining to the concealment of the names and details of complainants.

All the petitioners and the respondents in the above-mentioned petitions are present before this Court and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer (IO) concerned from Police Station, Maurya Enclave, Delhi.

Brief facts of the case are that due to some misunderstanding between the parties, who are neighbours, various differences, disputes and issues had arisen between them. Thereafter, upon the complaints being filed by the complainants, the present FIRs came to be registered against the petitioners, one on 14.08.2015 and two cross-FIRs on 29.02.2016. On a query made by this Court, the respondent nos. 2/complainants, who have been identified by the IO, in respect of their respective FIRs, have categorically stated that they have entered into compromise out of their own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. Therefore, they have no objection if the present FIRs are quashed. 6.
It is also stated by the learned APP appearing on behalf of the State that the parties are neighbours and that there is no previous involvement of the petitioners herein in any other case, except the present FIRs. It is further stated that the accused Rambali has unfortunately passed away on 21.06.2025, and death verification report in this regard has also been placed on record.

In view of the above facts, that the parties have amicably resolved their differences of their own free will, and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. It would thus be in interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIRs and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIRs in question. 8.
Accordingly, FIRs bearing Nos. 695/2015, 166/2016 & 167/2016, registered at Police Station Maurya Enclave, Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

The petitions are disposed of in above terms. 10.
