O R D E R

During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner confines himself to pressing prayer (1) as canvassed in the present petition. The same reads as under:

"1. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing Respondent No. 2 to promptly revert to the Visa Authorities and complete the requisite verification in respect of the Renewal of Passport of the Petitioner, to ensure that no obstruction is caused to his lawful right to travel abroad;" 2.

The said prayer has been made in the background of the fact that the petitioner was invited by the Ambedkar International Mission (AIM), United Kingdom, to deliver a series of lectures in United Kingdom in May, 2023. 3.

For the said purpose, the petitioner obtained a 'No Objection Certificate' from the Principal of Hindu College, University of Delhi, on 06.03.2023 and also secured judicial permission from the Court of the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Tis Hazari Courts, New Delhi, vide The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. order dated 29.03.2023. However, subsequently, the visa application of the petitioner was denied only on the basis that the concerned authority did not respond to the query/email of the visa/immigration authority of United Kingdom seeking verification of the Court orders. 4.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that as and when any query is sent by any authority i.e. visa/immigration authority qua the present status of the petitioner or for verification of the Court order/s obtained by the petitioner, the respondents shall ensure that the same is duly responded to under intimation to the petitioner as well. The petitioner shall also be at liberty to contact the officials of respondent no.1 for their cooperation in this regard.

The above statement is taken on record. The respondents shall remain bound therewith.

The above redresses the grievance of the petitioner. Accordingly, the present petition, stands disposed of.
