Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The grievance raised in this writ petition relates to certain alleged encroachments and construction of shops on DDA/Municipal land comprising Khasra No.720/200 situate at Village Maujpur, Shahdara, Delhi, which is commonly known as property No.A-10, Shyam Gali No.1, Maujpur, Shahdara, Delhi.

In pursuance to the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in M.C. Mehta vs. Union of India reported in (2006) 3 SCC 399, Special Task Force has been constituted, which has been entrusted primarily to look into the unauthorized occupation and construction, etc. on the land belonging to the Government or other public authorities.

The petitioner accordingly ought to have approached the Special Task Force before filing the writ petition. There is nothing on record which reveals that the petitioner approached the authorities including those of the Special Task Force.

In view of the aforesaid, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition, which is hereby disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to approach the Special Task Force for ventilation of his grievances. 6.

The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 7.

We make it clear that neither we have made any observation as to the merit of the claim of the petitioner nor we advert to the intent of the petitioner to file the proceedings.
