% 28.02.2018 The petitioner prays for quashing of the bill dated 31,01.2018 issued by the respondent for a sum of Rs. 1,19,403/-. He submits that the said bill is highly excessive.
I He further submits that he has made various representations to the respondent for replacement of the meter by pointing out that the electronic meter installed by the respondent was faulty, but the respondent has till date failed to take any action on his representations.
Ms.Malavika Trivedi, Advocate who appears on advance notice for the respondent, fairly submits that the respondent would decide the petitioner's representation dated 22.01.2018 in a time bound manner by way of a reasoned & speaking order.
Accordingly, the writ petition along with pending application is Certify that the digital and physical file have been compared and the digital data is as per the physical file and no page is missing.
disposed of with a direction to the respondent to decide the pending representation of the petitioner by passing a reasoned and speaking order within four weeks. It is further directed that till the respondent dispose of the petitioner's representation, no coercive action would be taken against the petitioner.
Needless to state that, any payment made by the petitioner towards the impugned bill would be without prejudice to his rights & contentions.
