By way of the instant writ petition, the petitioners seek following prayer:

"a. Pass the Writ in form of mandamus thereby directing the Respondent to issue the police protection to the Petitioners, in the interest of justice; and/or"

Issue notice. The learned ASC accepts notice on behalf of the State. 5.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned ASC for the respondent/State.

In the present case, petitioner no. 1 and petitioner no. 2, after attaining the age of majority, had solemnized marriage with each other on 02.09.2025 as per Hindu rites and ceremonies at Arya Samaj Vedic Sanskar Trust, Tis The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Hazari Courts, Delhi. Thereafter, it is stated that the family members of petitioner no. 2 had lodged a missing complaint. 7.

The petitioners have prayed for protection for their life from the parents of petitioner no. 2. The right to life and liberty is a Fundamental Right guaranteed by the Constitution of India and the instant case merits the indulgence of this Court in ensuring the same. 8.

Both the petitioners, who are present before this Court, state that they will not contact their parents in future.

Therefore, keeping in view the sensitivity of the present matter and submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners, the SHO, PS DBG Road, Delhi is directed to provide adequate protection to the petitioners from the parents of petitioner no. 2. Further, the petitioners are directed to provide their mobile numbers to the concerned SHO and Beat Constable as well as phone numbers of Beat Constable and concerned SHO be shared with the petitioners. The Court is also informed that the Police is not contemplating arrest of the petitioners, as no complaint has been received against them.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioners states that he is satisfied with this arrangement.

Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of. 12.
