1. The present petition has been filed seeking grant of parole for a period of eight weeks in FIR No. 569/2000 under Sections 364A/34 IPC registered at PS Preet Vihar under section 364-A/34 IPC.

2. Issue notice. Learned SC has accepted the notice.

3. Learned SC on instructions submits that the petitioner is already on furlough and has to surrender on 18.10.2024.

4. Learned SC submits that the representation made by the petitioner for grant of furlough shall be considered and decided expeditiously by the law.

5. In view of the submissions made, the petition stands disposed of.
