Pursuant to order dated 14th October 2024, an affidavit has been filed by MCD/respondent no.1 stating that the land in question has not been handed over to the MCD by the Revenue Department GNCTD. 2.

It is also pointed out that the land in question in village Ladpur was urbanized by a notification dated 16th May 2017. 3.

Mr. Abhinav Singh, counsel appearing for GNCTD and Mr. Tushar Sannu, counsel appears for DDA/MCD.

In these circumstances, considering that there are multiple agencies which may be responsible for the same, petition is disposed of with the direction to the STF instituted by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, to investigate these matters and after consultation with the concerned authorities may expedite and oversee the removal of the encroachment and therefore The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
