This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.541/2021 registered at PS Fatehpur Beri, Delhi under Sections 308/452/34 IPC on the basis of settlement arrived at between the parties dated 24th September 2024, which is on record of this Court.

APP for the State informs that charges have been framed under Section 307 IPC.

Petitioner nos.1-4 and respondent nos.2 and 3 (complainants) are present in Court and are duly identified by IO and the counsels. All the parties are related to each other and it is informed that the dispute arose from allegation of theft of a pigeon, due to which ensued scuffle. Complainants state that they have been suitably compensated for their hospital expenses and have no objection to FIR being quashed.

of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.541/2021 registered at PS Fatehpur Beri, Delhi and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 6.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending application is disposed of as infructuous.
