On the last date of hearing i.e. on 16.10.2025, it was observed as under:

"2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks time to take instructions regarding the son and wife of the convict being able to stand as surety for him."

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner states that the son of the petitioner can furnish the surety bond through video conferencing, since he is unable to travel to Delhi. The learned ASC for the State submits that he has no objection to the same. 3.

Accordingly, the son of the petitioner may appear through video conferencing before the concerned Jail Superintendent, and tender the surety bond, which may be accepted as per rules.
