The present petition has been filed under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereafter the 'A&C Act') seeking extension of time for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of arbitral award.

The arbitral proceedings have arisen in the context of a Management Service Agreement (MSA) dated 30.06.2019, entered between the parties for furnishing, equipping,marketing, routine maintenance, operation, management, supervision anddirection of full service to the respondent's hotel situated at Hotel Park Palace, Masjid Bhandar, Mumbai. 3.

The learned Sole Arbitrator was appointed by this Court vide order dated 22.09.2021, pursuant to a petition filed by the petitioner under Section 11 of the A&C Act. Respective counsel for the parties submits that the matter is at the stage of final arguments before the arbitral tribunal. 4.
