After some hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition, with liberty to approach the Special Task Force ["STF"], constituted by the Supreme Court vide orders dated 24.04.2018 and 18.07.2018 in W.P.(C) 4677/1985 [M.C. Mehta vs Union of India & Ors.]. In the event, the STF does not take action on the petitioner's complaint within the period of four weeks from the date of complaint, the petitioner will be at liberty to apply for restoration of W.P.(C) 8460/2024, which he had earlier filed for the same relief, and which was dismissed for non-prosecution on 10.07.2024.

The petition, alongwith pending application, is disposed of in terms of the above.
