Present writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking protection. Status report is on record. 2.
I have heard the learned counsel for the parties including the counsel for the respondent No.6 and have examined the file. 3.
Undisputedly, both the petitioners are major and have performed marriage with their free consent. They have apprehension to their lives at the hands of respondent No.6 as the marriage is to his disliking.

Learned counsel for the respondent No.6 has put appearance and informs that neither respondent No.6 has ever extended any threat
to the petitioners nor he has any intention to extend any threat to them.
It is further informed that FIR has already been lodged and necessary action as per law be taken by the concerned police. 5.
Since both the petitioners are residing together at B-1426, Gali No.1, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi after marriage, necessary protection as granted vide order dated 07.03.2018 shall continue to be provided to them as per rules at the said address.

In the FIR lodged by the respondent No.6, law will take its own course.
