This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A(4) and (5) of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator by a period of six months from 10.06.2025.

It is stated in the petition that award has been reserved by the learned Arbitrator on 28.03.2025, however, since the mandate has expired on 10.06.2025, the same be extended by six months to enable the Arbitrator to pass the award.

Issue notice.

Mr. Gauhar Mirza, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the mandate of the Arbitrator being extended. 7.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator is extended by a period of 06 months from 19.09.2025 and period the between 11.06.2025 to 18.09.2025 is regularized. 8.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
