% 03.05.2017 The petitioner seeks bail in connection with FIR No.17/2017 dated 15.01.2017 instituted for offences under Sections 392/394 and 34 of the IPC. The petitioner is alleged to have snatched mobile phone and cash of Rs.2500/- from the victim on 15.01.2017.

The petitioner states that he has been arrested on mistaken identity. He further submits that he has not committed the offence and has been falsely implicated in this case.

Considering the period of custody and the nature of accusation, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing a bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court.

The petitioner shall, on his release, join investigation and shall visit police station as and when required of him for the investigation of the case.

In case the petitioner involves himself in any unlawful activity, it would be open for the investigating officer to approach this Court for cancellation of his bail.

The application is disposed of.
