This writ petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- "i. Pass an appropriate direction by way of writ in Mandamus or any other appropriate writ/order/direction of like nature directing the Respondent No. 1 to inquire and take immediate legal and administrative action against illegal subletting of the leasehold premises bearing No. B-52, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-1, New Delhi-110020. ii. Direct the DDA to take steps for eviction of unauthorized occupants and recovery of misuse charges from Respondent No. 2 and penalty be imposed on respondent no. 2;

iii. Direct DDA to consider the Petitioner's complaints and initiate proceedings for cancellation/forfeiture of lease deed in accordance with law.

iv. Plain reading of the writ petition as also the reliefs claimed show that limited prayer is for a direction to DDA to cancel the lease of the premises bearing B-52, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-1, New Delhi. Ms. Shobhana Takiar, learned Standing Counsel for DDA appearing on advance copy of the writ petition submits and rightly so, that Petitioner is not a lessee in the lease deed in question and has no locus to file the present writ petition for a direction to DDA. In case Petitioner has any dispute with Respondent No. 2, the legal heir of Smt. Varsha Rani, the remedy lies before the Civil Court. 3.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the Petitioner to take recourse to remedies before the appropriate forum.
