By the present petition, the petitioner prays that directions be given to Respondent Nos. 1-3 to complete the investigation expeditiously. The petitioner further prays that directions be passed that the trial be concluded within a period of two months. 2.

Briefly stated, FIR No. 80/2025 dated 29.01.2025 was registered at Police Station Hari Nagar for the offences under Sections 376/376(2)(n)/419/506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. It is alleged that the petitioner, on the false pretext of marriage, forcefully established physical relations with the victim. 3.

The petitioner is in custody since 29.01.2025. 5.

The learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State, at the outset, states that further investigation is almost complete and that the supplementary chargesheet would be filed expeditiously without any delay.

In regard to the prayer seeking completion of trial within a period of two months, no such directions can be passed. The learned Trial Court will conduct the trial as per the board position of the Court. Further, considering the provisions of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, efforts would be made for expeditious completion of trial. However, no time can be fixed for the completion of the trial.

No further orders are required to be passed at this stage. 8.

The present petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations.
