% 27.02.2017 CM No.7977/2017 This application is filed under Section 151 CPC by the respondent seeking release of interest accrued on the amount deposited by the petitioner in court as per order dated 03.03.2015.
The learned counsel for the respondent submits that the court may be pleased to release the interest accrued on the sum of Rs.2,79,887/- deposited by the petitioner in compliance with the order dated 03.03.2015 in favour of the respondent.
The matter has been settled as compromised. As per compromise, the Registry was directed to release a sum of Rs.2,79,887/- deposited with the Registrar General of this court in favour of the respondent. In case, any interest has accrued on the said deposit, the same may be released to the respondent.
In view of the above, the application stands disposed of. JAYANT NATH, J.
