By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of writ against the respondents to consider his name for premature release in FIR No. 147/2004, registered at PS New Delhi Railway Station, for the offences punishable under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 in the upcoming Sentence Review Board Meeting in terms of the applicable framework under Delhi Prison Rules, 2018.

Mr. Bhandari, learned ASC for State submits that the Sentence Review Board Meeting is likely to take place on 16.10.2025, and there is every possibility that the case of the petitioner will be considered along with 30 or more other cases.

In view of the statement made by learned ASC, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition. 4.
