The present petition, inter alia, seeks quashing of the order dated 23rd August, 2024 passed by Respondent No. 1 declining to accept the Petitioner's resignation. Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the challenge to this extent has now been rendered infructuous, as the Petitioner has subsequently re-joined the services of Respondent No. 1. 2.

The petition also assails charge-sheet 23rd January, 2025 issued to the Petitioner.

Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the disciplinary proceedings in respect of the charge-sheet are presently ongoing.

Accordingly, he seeks leave to withdraw the present petition and to challenge the chargesheet in case the need so arises subject to the outcome of the ongoing departmental proceedings.
