The present petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.892/2019 registered under Sections 323/324/341/34 IPC at P.S. Bindapur, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioner along with her husband and one other co-accused abused and hit the complainant. 3.
Learned APP for the State submits that in the present case, the petitioner is the accused and respondent No.2 is the complainant/victim. He further submits that besides the present petitioner, there are two co-accused persons namely, Amandeep @ Deepak and Anshul. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no control over the co-accused Amandeep @ Deepak/her ex-husband as they have already taken divorce. The other co-accused Anshul was also a friend of her ex-husband.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has entered into an out of court settlement with respondent No.2/complainant and in terms of the settlement, respondent No.2 does not wish to pursue any legal action against the present petitioner herein and is now left with no claims or grievances whatsoever against the present petitioner. 6.
The petitioner, who is present in Court, has been identified by her counsel as well as by the Investigating Officer. Respondent No.2, who has joined the proceedings through V.C., has been identified by the Investigating Officer.

The petitioner has shown remorse for her conduct and undertakes to not repeat the same in future. Respondent No.2 states that he has entered into the aforesaid out of Court settlement with the present petitioner out of his own free will, volition and without any coercion. He further states that he has no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed. 8.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no other proceedings are pending between the parties.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the present criminal proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed against the present petitioner only.

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of alongwith the pending applications.
