This petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for the following relief:
"a. quash the decision dated 20.08.2023 of the SSC/respondents to withhold the result of the petitioner and to keeping him in the list of the suspected candidates; and b.
direct the respondents to declare the revised result of the petitioner and issue the appointment/joining letter to the petitioner for the post of Constable (General Duty) in Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) - 2022 without any further delay; and c.
direct the respondents to pay the back wages from the date of declaration of the final result/ issuance of the appointment letters to the selected candidates along with all the consequential benefits"

By an Order dated 15.10.2024, after noting the contentions of the petitioner, this Court directed the learned counsel for the respondents to inform the Court regarding the status of the publication of the revised selection result.

The learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the revised result is under process of publication and will be published within a period of three weeks from today. 4.
The present petition is, therefore, disposed of by directing the respondents to publish the revised result within a period of three weeks from today.

Needless to state, any consequential steps following the publication of the result shall also be undertaken promptly and without any further delay by the respondents.
