Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she has received the copy of the status report.

Perusal of the status report indicates that admittedly notice under Rules 1272 of Delhi Prison Rule 2018 was not issued to the petitioner. In such circumstances, the matter is remanded back. Let a notice under Rules 1272 of Delhi Prison Rule 2018 be issued to the petitioner in accordance with Delhi Prison Rules 2018 and an opportunity be also given to the petitioner to respond to the notice consequent thereto.
