This is a joint petition filed by the petitioner under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of six months from 05.09.2025 to make and publish the final Award.

It is stated that the arbitral records were voluminous in nature and that the matter is now at the stage of final arguments to be addressed by both the parties and thereafter, publishing of the Award. 3.

For the said reasons, issue notice to the respondents. 4.

Mr. Raghav, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. In view of the aforesaid, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of six months from 05.09.2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
